Katie Holly

An English and Film Studies graduate, Katie joined start-up Bl!nder Films in 2006 where she successfully applied for slate support from the Irish Film Board for the companies feature projects. Her first feature ONE HUNDRED MORNINGS had it’s world premiere at Slamdance where it received a Special Jury Award. The film won an IFTA for Best Cinematography and the inaugural Workbook Project Discovery & Distribution Award which platformed the film in the US with a week-long run at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles. Katie has recently produced two new features, SENSATION, and COME ON EILEEN. Both films premiered at the Galway Fleadh and SENSATION recently had its international premiere in Toronto. Katie is currently in production on her fourth feature, CITADEL, a co production with Sigma Films. Starring Aneurin Barnard, James Cosmo and Wunmi Mosaku, the film is financed by the Irish Film Board and Creative Scotland. Katie is a graduate of EAVE, was Ireland’s Producer on the Move at Cannes 2010, is Chairwoman of Filmbase and Managing Director of Bl!nder Films.
