Nesra Gürbüz

Nesra Gu?rbu?z studied international relations at METU and did her MA on cultural studies at Bilgi University. She worked in a non- profit cultural institution Anadolu Ku?ltu?r for three years and coordinated social projects on cinema and photography. She was the production coordinator of Armenia Turkey Cinema Platform’s Films beyond Borders. In 2012, she started to work as a full time producer and she attended EAVE European Producers Workshop in 2013. She was the co-producer of Kaan Mu?jdeci’s debut feature Sivas, which has been selected Venice Film Festival’s official selection in 2014 and won the Special Jury Prize. The first feature she produced, Ahu Öztu?rk’s Dust Cloth made its international premiere in 66th Berlin International Film Festival’s Forum section. Dust Cloth was awarded with best film, best screenplay and best actress awards in Istanbul International Film Festival. Currently, she continues producing features, short films and creative documentaries.
