Susana Santos Rodrigues acts as the programming delegate for the Iberoamerican territories to the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, in the Czech Republic, and for the territory of Latin America to the Cinéma du Réel - International Documentary Film Festival, in France. She is also an active member of the selection committee of the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival, in Brazil, and a programming advisor to the Bildrausch FilmFest Basel, in Switzerland. Part of the selection committee of the Hubert Bals Fund (HBF - from the Rotterdam Intl Film Festival), in The Netherlands; the Coproduction Fund of the Portuguese Film and Audiovisual Institute (ICA), as well as the alternate member for the Bilateral Co-production Fund (ICA - CNC) for Portuguese-French Co-productions (2017-2019); member of the reading committee for the Doha Film Institute, and an external expert assisting the European Union\'s Creative Europe -Media subprogramme. In 2013, she co-founded the Argentinean distribution and production outfit VAIVEM that has released Horse Money, by Pedro Costa, Museum Hours, by Jem Cohen, and A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, by Ana Lily Amirpour, among others. The company is also active in Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Equador, Mexico, and Portugal. Formerly, festival manager at Films Boutique, head of international sales at Madragoa Filmes, marketing communications manager at Atalanta Filmes or guest curator at International Film Festival of Kerala, India. Zimbabwe-born Portuguese film curator, project analyst, distributor and producer, graduated in Modern Literature, with a post-graduation in Performance Arts Management and Production, in Portugal. Currently living in between Europe and Latin America.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
