Magdelena Ilieva

Magdelena studied film directing in Bulgaria and NYU. Her company Little Wing Productions has (co)produced several shorts and a feature, and is currently developing the feature MONEY FOR A FUNERAL (Berlinale Talent Project Market 2016) while co-producing EAVE project SIREN’S CALL – in prep, produced by EAVE alumna Emine Yildirim of Giyotin Films, Turkey. Magdelena’s credits as producer include shorts THE SON (Best Short nomination at Tampere 2016 and Sofia IFF 2016) and ENEMIES (Best Short Special Mention at Sofia IFF 2015; Best Short nomination at Trieste IFF 2016), and feature THE LESSON (ARTE Prize at Berlinale TPM 2013, world premiere Toronto IFF 2014, awarded at San Sebastian, Warsaw, and Tokyo IFF).
