Eva Sigurdardottir is a BAFTA nominated Film Producer and an Icelandic Academy winning Film Writer-Director who is based between Reykjavik, Iceland and London, England. Eva was the Line Producer of EFA nominee and Festival de Cannes Prix Un Certain Regard winner RAMS by Grímur Hákonarson. Eva’s Producer credits include the BAFTA nominated short film GOOD NIGHT (2012), as well as Icelandic Academy winner RAINBOW PARTY (2015) and seven other short films. Eva is currently developing a range of feature film projects with directors that she nurtured through shorts as well as with new talent. She is also developing her next short and her debut feature as a director. Eva studied Television Production at the University of Westminster in London, graduating with a first class honours degree in 2008. Since graduating Eva has worked on shorts and feature films, and has travelled the world self-shooting a documentary series on world religions. Eva worked at the BBC for three years, specializing in children’s animation, acquisitions and drama. In recent years she worked as the Production Manager of the Film & Photography department at the charity Save the Children, managing a team of 25 across the globe. Currently Eva is working as an independent Film Producer for her company Askja Films. As a Writer-Director she is represented by Kelly Knatchbull and Tania Hurst-Brown at Sayle Screen.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
