Born 1970, is a producer and screenwriter and the founder of Helsinki -filmi, one of Finland\'s most prominent production companies. His credits as producer and/or writer include many domestic critical and box office hits in various genres, some of which have attracted international awards and sales as well (including Lapland Odyssey, Tears of April, The Visitor and Young Gods). Currently, besides writing and producing, he also works as the professor of film and TV production at Aalto University (Finnish film school).\"

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
