Born in 1974. Maria Dahlin studied Marketing and Economics at Pace University in NYC in 1998. After 5 years in the advertising industry she decided to switch to feature films and attended MEGA MEDIA in 2003 in Ronda, Spain. MEGA MEDIA is supported by MEDIA and Eurimages. After MEGA she was approached by Zentropa and worked as a production accountant at Lars Von Trier’s Manderlay.
Dahlin has focused on European co-productions and worked mainly at Danish and/or Swedish production companies. Besides Zentropa she has worked for Nimbus film, Yellow Bird, where she among others post-produced 13 WALLANDER films, Memfis Film where she was an associate producer and post-producer on Lukas Moodysson’s Mammoth and Josef Fares’ “Leo”.
1n 2009 Dahlin attended Screen Leaders, supported by MEDIA, with her former employer Hepp film, where she was CFO and Executive Producer.
Her latest productions are “Call Girl” produced by Garage film and “The 100 year old who climbed out the window and disappeared” produced by Nice Flx where she acted as Executive Producer.
