Andy Docherty\'s career in video content distribution and marketing spans more than 20 years in traditional content licensing, affiliate channel sales and digital distribution and marketing. He was involved with distribution of premium sports content during the infancy of that industry while at CSI and was part of the team responsible for global distribution of the English Premier League during its inception. He later worked for the BBC in Sport, News and Current Affairs, moving to programme and format distribution within BBC Worldwide. After 5 years with the BBC, Andy left to join Travel Channel in channel distribution and later Liberty Global, where he was initially responsible for Affiliate Sales of the chellomedia digital channels across Europe, including the Extreme Sport Channel. Andy subsequently moved to head up content acquisitions for Sport 1 in the Netherlands, following Liberty Global\'s acquisition of the Canal+ channel business in the Netherlands. From 2007 until May 2013, Andy was responsible for the iTunes TV business in UK and Europe and was later responsible for a number of iTunes movie store launches for Apple in Europe. Since leaving iTunes, Andy has become a managing partner of CTM Digital, one of the leading digital Movie and TV aggregators in Europe and the largest content provider for iTunes in the Benelux. CTM Digital is one of a handful of iTunes \'Preferred\' Aggregators and is able to deliver and market movies and TV programmes globally, direct to the iTunes store.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
