Sebastian Barriuso

Sebastian Barriuso is a Havana-born, award-winning filmmaker. He studied at the Higher Institute of Arts in Cuba. His first-directed feature \"Un Traductor\" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival\'s World Cinema Dramatic Competition. He was awarded, alongside with brother and co-director of the film Rodrigo Barriuso, Best Directors at the 2018 Shanghai International Film Festival, the only Class-A film festival in China. He also produced the feature film La Piscina which had its premiere at 2013 Berlin International Film Festival\'s Panorama and received the Special Jury Award at the Marrakesh International Film Festival. \"Un Traductor\" was developed at EAVE Puentes 2015-16.
