Born in 1987 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Graduated from Bates College (USA) in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and pursued M.A. at the High Courses for Screenwriters and Directors in Moscow. Worked for Vice Media in New York City and Dozhd Television Channel in Moscow as director of promo content. Edited over a dozen award-winning films, including \"Brother Dejan\" (B. Bakuradze), \"Anthill\" (V. Loginov) and \"Intimate Parts\" (N. Merkulova & A. Chupov). Made a full-length feature debut with \"Chameleon\" (co-directed with Elvin Adigozel), which competed at Locarno Film Festival’s Cineasti Del Presente section in 2013. Member of EAVE network. Berlinale Talents Alumni. Participant of CineLink Industry Days, Moscow Business Square, B\'EST 2013. Co-founder of Coyote Cinema production company. Currently in development with an Azerbaijani-French co-production titled \"The Island Within\".

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
