Graduated in 2005 from the Dutch Film Academy Koji started his career in advertising working for many brands such as Heineken, Amstel, Albert Heijn and Unilever. Since 2007 he started focusing on feature. In the years to come, he (co)produced amongst the many shorts and feature films the Oscar nominated BULLHEAD (director Michael Roskamp), box office hit SKIRT DAY (director Johan Neijenhuis), THE PRIME MINISTER (director Erik van Looy), festival success QUALITY TIME (director Daan Bakker), THE LITTLE GANGSTERS (director Arne Toonen) which was sold worldwide.
In 2016 together with Derk-Jan Warrink he started Keplerfilm. Derk-Jan produced many international titles such as films the Oscar nominated film THE LOBSTER and BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS.
Keplerfilm’s goal is to tell stories; whether funny or sad, always deeply human and with a heart, and aiming to intellectually entertain the audience. And always with a strong focus on developing and nurturing talent.
They have produced the successful animation film CATASTROPHE which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Has been selected by over 100 film festivals worldwide and the VOD platform Amazon bought the film. With Keplerfilm they are involved in many international coproductions and are shooting coming year 3 feature films. WHEN FISH START FLYING will be their first feature with Keplerfilm. To be shot entirely on Curacao.
Koji graduated EAVE in 2010 and is member of the ACE Producers Network and is board member of the Netherlands Content Producers
